Describe the purpose and aim(s) of the organisation/voluntary group

Advice NI, founded in 1995, is a registered charity providing leadership and support to 65 member organisations, ensuring accessible advice services across Northern Ireland. We help our members deliver high-quality advice by enhancing standards, acting as a voice for the independent advice sector, and partnering to develop services. We also offer support through training, policy, information, volunteering, and communications. Our members provide free, independent advice on Benefits, Debt, Housing, Employment, Disability, Community Care, and Consumer Issues. Advice NI envisions a society of informed citizens accessing their rights. We also deliver advice on Benefits, Debt, EU Settlement/Immigration, Tax Credits, and other HMRC services. Our values include diversity, accessibility, equality, and social justice.
