Describe the purpose and aim(s) of the organisation/voluntary group

We provide a universal service to all individuals and families living in the Castlerea area across the whole life span. To promote, support and facilitate a family support and community development approach in response to individual and family needs. To target individuals and families in situations of greatest disadvantage and the most socially excluded in the community. This will be done through the provision of affordable services and supports tailored to help recipients to engage fully in their community and live life to their full potential.
We provide prevention and early intervention programmes to support children, families & community members in various aspects of their lives and develop need led responses. While we have an open door policy which welcomes everyone into our service we target those most vulnerable and disadvantaged, including children and families at risk, low income families, single parent households, older people and migrants and refugees.
